Hello, My name is Nathan Blagg. My parents are Tyler and Amy Blagg. I am 13 years old and am graduating 8th grade at Lockeford School. I am a member of the Tokay Colony 4-H Club. I am outgoing and like to learn leadership skills so I am the President of Tokay Colony 4-H and also the President of Lockeford School’s Student Council.

I will be selling my Red Holstein Dairy Replacement heifer, named Lace, at the San Joaquin County AgFest on June 16th at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds.  Lace placed 3rd in the 4-H show.

My heifer Lace was purchased from Van Exel Dairy this winter. Lace’s sire is Mr. Affection Analyst Red-ET. Lace is bred to Farnear Aircraft-ET-RC. She is due to have her calf on the 25th of August.

I am on the Jr. AgFest board which helps plan events for members to participate in during Agfest.  I have also enjoyed being in other 4-H activities. I am in the Sport Shooting, Cooking, Outdoor Adventure, Gardening, and Metal Working projects.

In addition to raising a replacement heifer I have a Holstein winter calf, which I also showed at AgFest.  I also showed her at the Western Dairy Classic show in Tulare. This year I competed in dairy judging at the Western Dairy Showcase, Western Dairy Classic, and Modesto Junior College contests. I would like to show at the State Fair this year and plan on going to the Holstein Cow Camp at CalPoly this summer. I am very interested in the dairy industry and potentially pursuing a career in the industry.

The Dairy Heifer Replacement Auction will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 7 pm. For those that can not attend, the auction will be simulcast on stockshowauction.com. More information regarding the show or sales can be found at www.sanjoaquinagfest.org. I understand that not everyone can purchase a dairy heifer but would appreciate any support that you can give.

Thank You!

BIDDING PROCEDURES

BIDDING TYPES: Bidding is done in increments and will vary by lot according to the current price or request of specific consignor and/or governing body such as a specific fair or show board. Bidding Users have one of two choices for bidding style. 1) “Max Bid” style which allows bidders to enter the maximum amount they wish to spend and allow the system to bid on your behalf by the published increments as other Users compete against your maximum bid. 2) “Regular Bid” style allows bidders to enter a bid that will become the new highest bid, unless another User has entered a higher “Max Bid”, passing all other increments. With either option, Users should be aware that they may be out bid minutes before the close of the online auction and may not have the opportunity to enter another bid. You should automatically receive notification by email and/or text if another bidder outbids your maximum bid, however you should not rely solely on this email and/or text notification. You will therefore need to monitor the auction activity to stay fully informed. In the event of a tie, the earlier bid will be considered the winning bid. When bidding ends, all sales shall be considered final. There are no exchanges or refunds absent express statement to the contrary expressed herein. A bid by any person shall be deemed conclusive proof that such person is familiar with the terms and conditions of use and auction rules and that the bidder agrees to be bound by them.
