Meet the one and only Chopper!
Like a Motorcycle, he's the coolest, and like a Pork Chop, he's gonna be delicious!
My name is Tucker Rossback, like the road in Davidsonville. I am 11 years old, and I love Farming. I’d like you to take a minute to meet the coolest Pig in the world, Chopper, and read my story.
This is my first year showing animals in 4-H. This year I have raised a pig named Chopper for market and two lambs named Bonnie and Clyde for market. My pig Chopper is now about 250 lbs to 300 lbs. I feed him 3 pounds twice a day of Linder Show pig feed. Only feed the best to the Best. This current feed has 7% fat and 23 % protein. Garrett Hamby is our breeder, Hamby Haven Show Pigs and our feed distributor from Clear Spring MD. He has been a great help during my new adventure. I send him pictures and videos every few weeks so we can adjust the feed as needed.
Chopper has been the best Pig. He was born on March 1st, 2024. He is so friendly and has a great personality. He loves baths and belly rubs, drinking from the hose and vanilla wafers. He also enjoys getting in the kiddie pool with us. We have raised Chopper in our neighborhood in Riva. He has become the talk of the town. All the neighborhood kids have enjoyed helping me care for him this summer. I have taken Chopper to 3 shows before the Anne Arundel County Fair. A show in Southern Maryland, Cecil County fair and Somerset County Pig show. Chopper did very well in the ring, loading and unloading and had a good attitude towards other pigs.
Please help me earn money this year by bidding on my pig or sending in donations. I have put a lot of time and money and hard work into my animals this year. It has been fun and I have learned a lot from them. If I make a profit I plan to save 30% of my earnings for a car and college and put 70% towards my market projects next year. Hopefully I will be able to purchase more livestock and add on to my pig pen for next season.
Ride on over and Bid on The One and Only CHOPPER!
Or watch and Bid online from the couch. There will be a live stream for you to watch Chopper and I in the ring on Saturday Sept. 14th, 2024.
Thanks in advance for your support! Big and small amounts will allow me to continue to do what I love being a Farmer. I'm just a boy doing what he loves. Thank a Farmer today. It's not an easy job, I know.
Thanks, Tucker Rossback
